Right now I'm bandless... even though I've been seriously working on getting into something for the last five months. One band split into two parts just as I auditioned... one half of what was left asked me to start something up with them but I didn't get the right sort of vibe from them. I had a one-nighter with a singer-songwriter, but he's not gigging regularly. I could have gotten this thing with twin sister guitarists, playing at CBGBs in 6 weeks, but their songs were too amateur. The ZZ Top tribute band guy got back to me after many months, but I changed my mind after realizing my range is just too low for "Tush" and without "Tush" you have nothing... plus, I'm not manly enough to pull that stuff off anyway. I'm waiting for a demo CD from this guy whose act sounds right up my alley, so we shall see.

I'm cool cause I have a jeep damnit. and I get to make cool jeep parts while on the clock. I would post pictures of my gear shifter, but I don't want LJ to turn me in for copyright infrigment for modifying Jeep's logo to say Only in George's Jeep.

HEY! There are lots of cars that are less cool than a minivan. A minivan is definitely cooler than any older-model Volvo. Or a freaking Baja. Or a damn Aztec.

I make driving a minivan cool, baby.

Great taste? Try pity.

So, you're trying to buy an indulgence...or a "free fuckup" card?

As long as your not in an unlimited your still cool.

I have a 4 cyl so I have the 4.11 rearend. Still a lil slow, but does okay offroad. I hate automatic jeeps. I know the rockcrawling crowd loves them. (and I have to admit sometimes an automatic would come in handy on hills). If you happen to have a NV3500 (or even better a NV4500) laying around feel free to ship it my way.

I'm the only person I know who makes candle sculptures. Regardless of its coolness factor, I think it's fun. (I made a candle that looks like a real pot of flowers, some are incense holders, etc. You can't burn them though. They're just for looks.)

PS
If anyone knows of some kind of fixative or laquer that can be put on candle wax, that won't damage the wax but will preserve the candle, let me know. (I have to keep them in a cool place so they won't melt...lol)

Well, if all of you had Top Secret clearances I could tell you that I've been 900 feet underwater, but since I'm (probably) the only one here who has had one I can't tell you guys that.

Lady Syc actually has a top secret government security clearance. She had to get it when she worked for a DOD contractor in Baltimore.
