What difference does it make what time the post was made, or you reply, in the posters home time zone? It's not a phone where you might wake them by posting. Your reply won't wither and blow away, before they get back to read it. You've completely confused me.

It's mostly for the convenience of others, as an enhancement to "conversation." For instance, sometimes it's helpful to know if a poster is sipping their morning coffee or tucking themselves into bed for their beauty sleep.

Just for you to look up where everyone was and make it easy to figure out time. Simple math.

But it would only work if people posted where they were. So I guess it will never work.
