Thumbs up A Song of Fire and Ice

Is anyone else waiting on the newest installment in George R. R. Martin's A Song of Fire and Ice trilogy? It's called A Feast for Crows. He's been writing it for half of forever!

It's fantasy without a large amount of magic. If you're into plotting and intrigue, you'll like this series. Each chapter centers around a main character. It can be kind of hard to follow at times, but it keeps you on your toes!

I've read a bunch of his other stuff, but haven't read any of these. I was on a pretty big George RR Martin kick some years ago, but it petered out. I've got way too much stuff on my to be read pile right now to get back into him, but would be interested in hearing some opinions.

I've been waiting, but gave up on it a while ago. If it comes out I'll definitly read it, but I don't really thing it's ever going to happen. Especially since it's been titled at least a year before release, that's usually not a good sign for any author.

It was supposed to come out this past summer, and I put the current three on my "to reread" shelf, in anticipation. I never got around to rereading them, and George R. R. Martin has been kind enough to not publish the next one in the meantime.
