How do I?

How do I find complete computer history on my hard drive when it has been erased (when I use my browser "History" button to find it)? I have Netscape Navigator. Thanks.

Dear, we actually all read the whole board. You don't have to post the same question more than once.

Unless, of course, your intention is to eventually try to sell us software that will solve the problem you are posing.

I don't.

Ghod...if I did, you might find me in your intake queue some fine evening.

ob-geek observation: You can't find *anything* on your hard drive when it's been erased. You can't even boot.

Of course a computer forensics guy probably could...

Forensics guys are hawt. Esp. when they're sneaking around your computer.

After leading off here with *that* question, crossposted no less, I'd be careful about using the word "retarded". Pot, kettle, etc.

"Thought" might be a little questionable too...

This would be the perfect example of farting in the elevator, then getting off.

Not to ruin your fantasy or anything, but they're not.

Catharine Willows is hawt too...but she's just on TV as well, and doesn't do computer forensics either. So is Olivia Benson. And most of the Sixes on Battlestar Galactica, although come to think of it they're not in law enforcement at all...although they could probably do computer forensics. Heck, Sharons the Boomers can reprogram a computer with a blood transfusion.

Mags, your local jurisdiction has some hawt cops. I haven't ever seen any forensics guys, I'm not sure they have any of their own.

I met the coroner once. He's about what you'd expect.

I think you're right about no forensics. We're lucky we have cops. :-)
