I've often thought about how cool it would be if you could have a copy of every picture a stranger ever took that had you in the background. You know there have to be lot of pictures of you out there that you have never seen. walking by the White House. At the overlook of the Grand Canyon. In a crowd at a concert. Etc.

Facebook just barely scratches the surface, but sometimes you'll find a picture of yourself, even when you aren't tagged.

This was me yesterday, chatting with a dad just outside of the shot after my son's promotion from elementary school to middle school.

There's another picture I saw taken at my daughter's promotion as she's off to high school. That one only shows my right foot.

Wouldn't it be cool though, to have a photo album of all the stranger's pictures that you appear in? Candids, every one.

Between long-lasting cement and silica chips to store jpg's,
don't you sometimes get the feeling we 'll soon run out of sand.

Someday, maybe soon, facial recognition technology will help you achieve this dream!

Yeah. I wonder if I'll be able to file a FOIA request to get a copy of all those government owned pictures?

I saw a story once about a couple browsing through family albums for baby pictures to use at their wedding reception. In a picture of the bride as a little kid at Disney World, the groom suddenly spotted his father in the background pushing a stroller -- and himself riding it. A picture of the two of them about two decades before they actually met.

Glatt, I respect you for your choice of friends, and I'm sure they're wonderful on the inside.
Although it makes me wonder if you are prejudiced against people llike me, who are not.

That wasn't intended as an emotional ref.
Just that I wear my medical illness on the inside.

That reminds me of one of the best episodes in the TV series, "Mad About You"

She means how unfortunate that the main subjects of your photo have developed some sort of disease which cause tumors to grow on their face and head.

Ah, so.

I was just going to black out their faces, but then I wondered what the raindrop filter did. I kinda like it.
