"He was basically a good kid"

Who apparently randomly killed the wife of a prominent attorney and television commentator.

Good kids do that all the time.

That's his yearbook photo, by the way.

Yearbook standards seem to have changed somewhat since I was in one.

They changed considerably since his picture of three years earlier. Fox news has run a three pic sequence of his nice pic, the angst-y pic and the charles manson pic (mistakenly described as Marilyn Manson, but, hey, let's not quibble)

What is it with the long, black overcoat and heavy eyeliner-types? Can't they do anything original? Stupid kid. This was brewing for a looooong time. I wonder what his parents were doing while he was morphing into a Columbine Wanna-Be.

Playing a lot of baseball, apparently (from CNN):

A man at the house where the suspect lived declined to comment Thursday, as goats and chickens wandered around the property. A potbelly stove, a bathtub and dozens of baseballs littered the yard, AP reported.

Yeah, the ax murder was such a sweetheart, too. He was charged as an accessory in this murder/suicide . That's why they're called sociopaths. I blacked out the names out of respect for the victim's family

Now mom has been arrested as an accessory...

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,173772,00.html

But the FoxNews article doesn't say why she's an accessory. Guess they left that part out. I tell ya, the only thing about Fox News I like anymore is Bill Hemmer. He is freaking yummy!

Mom was probably charged because kid provided her some kind of information that will be useful to the prosecution so they're using her failure to report or even attempts to help conceal culpability in the crime as a means to plea bargain her way into giving them that information or admission regarding the murder.

Just guessing.

Ah, good, it'll be open-season on trenchcoat-and-black-clothing types again. Will angry parents form a torchlight mob and burn down their local Hot Topics?

When Sisters of Mercy are outlawed, will only outlaws listen to them?

How many long years ago was it that The Jackson 5 sang "One bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch". We've come so far since then.....(!!)

"One Bad Apple" was an Osmonds song when the Osmonds and Jackson 5 were endlessly compared.
