Solar Storms
We are supposed to be at the height of solar storm activity. An event that occurs typically once every 11 years. So man has surrounded the sun with many satellites to monitor activity (Stereo A and B, ACE, Solo, Wind, SoHO, ICE, Solar Dynamics Observatory).
The Daily Mail discussed this on 8 Aug 2013 in: The calm before the solar storm? NASA warns 'something unexpected is happening to the Sun' The sun has been extremely quiet. Which proves a watched sun never boils. |
