parts request

Does anyone happen to have a 64 meg RAM chip for a Compaq P2/2266? It's labelled S8104 in the small type.

If you do, I'd be your friend forever if you'd shoot me a pm with a price and terms.

Thank you

Brian

What's the model of the machine? Presario? Deskpro?

Nevermind. It's a presario.

Yeah, I got you covered.

Click here - and if that doesn't work, or they won't ship to you, let me know and I'll order it. You can either PayPal me or come pick it up (I'm an hour or so from you). And it'd be a perfect opportunity to finally talk about getting you some new computers!

Thanks Dave. I'll try that link as soon as I get paid.

The prices look good to me. But what's this about you only living an hour from me? I thought you lived far far away?
or am I thinking of someone else? I get confused easily since I IRC a lot at night.

and feel free to call me anyway. I sent you my number in pm. I could use the tech help when it comes time to buy hardware.

I will definitely help you out. At the very least, I owe you for saying I had you covered and then going and taking forever to get you information (though the fire wasn't my fault )

Yeah, I live in Tyson's Corner, VA - right across the border from Maryland on the outer loop South. Should take you about an hour to come down 95, take 495 West, follow it as it turns South and then get off in Tyson's.

Really?

I'll be down that way late this week or early next week.

I go down to a service station near exit 177 for my inspection. And I'm due

Someday we'll have to do lunch. Or come up and visit me.

Unless you burned up your car too

Hey Brian, I like the poem, but what's with all the whitespace at the end?

Dunno where it came from.
Consider it edited though.

RAM

Brian,

I should have some more RAM chips that work with presarios as well if you need them. Of course, they worked in the AMD line.

Shoot em my way Mitch...I should be up in Phila on or about the 30th of this month.

I'll try em out and if they don't work, I get up there about once a month on business. And pretzel runs
