The fuzzy barcode has been figured out (at last :). It reads "Another corpse does a 350-40." and is here: http://img259.imageshack.us/my.php?i...ldecode9ay.gif if you'd like to see for yourself.

So. We have "[does a] 350-40", and "to 639 by 59". 'Another corpse', interestingly, only appears in Dance at the beginning of chapter 40 (though it's page 360, rather than 350).

So what you are saying is that you're actually too lazy to cheat.

I found this puzzle the other day via this http://www.thisisnotporn.com/ad.jpg but I also have met Boruff before, as that is my girlfriend in the picture. I can't figure anything out. So I guess meeting has really put me at an advantage. I mean in terms of figuring out the puzzle, no offence to Boruff.

Heh, somebody either at the official forums or here mentioned seeing your girlfriend (on campus maybe?) and recognizing her from the t-shirt ad picture, but he didn't ask her about it.

I have a feeling we're not trying to get past the 6th light, but rather, we're trying to get past the lights page as a whole. We just needed to unlock each of the lights to gain enough clues... This is a theory anyway. There's probably some all-encompasing theme within each of these pages, and we have to find it.

He brings up a good idea. Maybe the sixth light isn't just another light like the last ones. But it's a link to the next area of sorts. So maybe thinking in this kind of mindset will help us to get past it.

Yeah, it seems that the next page is like the IJsselmeer one, where we have to type in a url, maybe the lights don't really have an order, or at least as much emphasis as we are putting on it.

As I asked before, is dropping your axe a euphemism for dying?

As far as dropping the axe thing. I'd use it as that. I've also heard it mean "playing a guitar solo" and some other things. I hope that helps.

common themes
-light-darkness
-walls closing in
-DDD (only for the lights pages so far, and the entry into the "dolphin hotel")

DDD includes, death, skeletons etc.

there have been other things in there like frankenstein, wizard of oz and metamorphosis etc
