Is it called that because it gives you ghetto bootie?

Nuttin better than Dyer's Burgers.

The burgers are deep-fried: meat, bun and all. Dyer's has been serving 'em up since 1912. The flavor secret is the grease. They've never thown the grease out since starting opening. They do strain and process the grease daily. When Dyer's Burgers opened their Beale Street store, the owners hired a police escort for their prized vat of grease, which made the five-mile journey in an armored car. It was an astute move -- the publicity surrounding the event was huge, and folks from all over town soon lined up, eager to purchase a bag full of doubles with cheese.

I love both of them! Graeter's Raspberry Chocolate Chip is fabulous but so are all the flavors. Skyline is a heaven of spicy, cinnamon-y "chili" over spaghetti with beans, onions and a mountain of cheese (served with oyster crackers coz you need some carbs with that) and puts me right into a coma!

This burger was not fast food, but it was delicious. Scaleburger in Elbe. The whole restaurant would fit in our dining room.

When I was a teenager, my boyfriend worked there and they used their old burgers to make their chili

Thumbs up

Rockne's Mad Maxx is a really good burger.
But right now my fav is the Grinder's Restaurant...
- BBQ Bacon Cheese Burger- splashed with BBQ sauce, bacon, and Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses on our special kaiser bun served with lettuce, tomatoes & mayo.

(description is from their carryout menu and in place of a pic)

OK, now I'm hungry!!!

@BigV

I've eaten there. AAMOF, I have pictures somewhere of the darlets posing on the stump out front. We would always stop there on the way to Paradise Lodge. Have you ever stayed there?

If they bring the food to you, I don't think it counts as fast food ... walk up or drive up to order is a defining characteristic.

If we're allowed to name any darn place that makes burgers, I have to go with the Wet Willy from Reno's in Exton, Penna.

That is a burger, let me tell you ...

Thanks for that video Lumberjim. It makes me want to pack up the car and head to Arizona. My wife wants us to visit her aunt in New Mexico. You can bet I'd be stopping by this place on the way and if it isn't on the way...I'll make it on the way.

Wolf, I think the bypass burgers at the Heart Attack Grill are probably more than just a burger. The nurses, all you can eat french fries, and the fact that they don't carry any diet sodas makes this place tops in my book without having ever even tried it.
