BTW Shawnee - sod's law is just the principle that things will always go wrong when it is most important that they don't. In other words the evening I least want to be interrupted by a senior member of staff is the evening I am most likely to be - according to the law of sod.

Wow, the accents really change things for me. SundaeGirl, I always read your posts with a British accent, but your voice is a lot breathier than I imagined. UT, you definitely sound like you're on the East coast, this will totally change how I hear your posts in my head.
Awesome thread! I have no video recording options, but maybe I can work up an audio recording at least... |

I'm pretty damn good at identifying British & Antipodean accents (could never mistake a Kiwi for an Aussie!) but hopeless at American accents unless they're really strong. Looking forward to hearing some Southern & Western accents certainly. Murphy's Law! I knew there was an international equivilant - just couldn't think of what it was.

ashke, you remind me a lot of my friend Amanda.
(well, except that you said "ciao" and she would have said "bye"... but the inflection is pretty similar) Last edited by Torrere; 11-02-2006 at 12:18 AM. |
