Naw, the old phone is phucked. Battery is hosed, camera is fried, USB won't work, bluethooth is caputt... and now it only makes a high pitched squealing noises if I try to turn it on. I did get a few more months out of it after the Great Washing, but it was never the same.
I think I will be going with the next generation phone in the same sequence. Sony-Ericsson W760. It uses the same software to sync (directly) with a pc and outlook as my old phone. With a two-year extension on my existing contract, I can get it for $30. I ended up using phonescoop.com. They've got a lot of useful search parameters to find a phone that will work -- in this case, I needed to search for 'PC Sync'. No email, no web surfing, Data plan turned OFF. Awesome pic, Bruce!

Good choice, Pie Was gonna suggest you stick with Sony if you like, they have a lot of good phones out with the functions you like.
I dislike Blackberrys A LOT, love my iphone but neither are what you are after. |
