Victor has made great strides this summer with his training around the cows, waiting for directions was so hard for him he wanted to herd his own way. Good boy Victor!

If I was a steer, I'd surely pay attention to those eyes, and go wherever he said.

I agree. But that's my lap she's lying in!

My cattle dog puppy 4 weeks old sleeping like an angel. I can almost see his halo! 4 more weeks and he will be here! I bet by then he will have sprouted some horns!

I never had a curtain climbing cat. I thought they were fictional.
You go, Cyd.

Do you want one?
I mean, nothing in the house is safe, is it? I've cleared the shelves and mantelpiece in Cyd's playroom. And will have to do the same for the rest of the house when we let her loose ....

I lived through that when I got Diz & Dyl, and they weren't even kittens.

An incomplete list of things which still have to be kept out of Dizcat's way:
- All food. I mean every single thing needs to be stowed away
- Tissues
- Pens
- Earplugs
- Anything paper or cardboard
- Corks
- Lipsalve/ coldsore lotion
- Make up brushes
- Rubber bands (which appear in the litter tray intact)
- Anything with a strap or cord (jogging bottoms, bags, etc)
- Wires

You get my drift?

How about live electrical cords?

I used to have a couple of cats that loved to chew on lamp cords. Gnaw gnaw nom nom nom not. None died from it, if you don't count the lamps.

Limes knows that I've lost phone chargers to Diz. And yes, they were plugged in.
He's also pretty much shot himself in his furry foot by chewing through the wire to his heated pad once too often.

Dads managed to repair it twice but if Diz does it again I'm not sure it can be saved. The pad is on top of the wardrobe at present as it's too warm for him to need it (hence my nights of broken sleep) but I know he'll nom it again come Autumn/ Winter.

When I'm out during the day it's his only comfort.
He makes his own problems

Carrot still steals toothbrushes.

I buy them in packs of four now :p

Since I actually caught him chewing them a few times and told him off he's now got the idea that he isn't allowed to chew them up. So, he just steals them, mauls them a little and leaves them lying about.

He's a little git for stealing and chewing up stuff if it's left about. And he goes looking for stuff too. On work surfaces, windowledges, shelves.

Little monster.
