Away Team Mission: Principia Discordia Forum

As an homage to the Internet Safari that recently visited us, I thought we should return the favor, and pay our good neighbors a visit.

First, go to their site and register. don't post.

2nd, prepare your Star Trek character. Decide what species/race/rank you want to be..... if you need help PSing your pic into a star trek uniform, let me know. I see Zippy as a Klingon.....working on that.....

3rd, await your orders. We'll let you know when we beam down to the surface of their site and begin our mission.

post in this thread if you're into it, and let us know what your name will be.... ie: Lt. Cicero.......Ensign Razz Amatazz etc

they have avatars, so the pic is key for continuity.

We'll beam down into a thread once we have assembled a proper away team.

Apparently I've been nominated to be Admiral Dallas. I will sit around on my ass at Starfleet command, get 5 minutes of screen time in which I act all stick-up-my-ass-by-the-book-military, and then disappear while Captain Whoever goes off, defies my orders, nails some hot alien chick, and just generally saves the universe as we know it.

I could potentially serve as T'Pringles, a Vulcan who has a fetish for snack foods ...

There's nothing that drives a Discordian battier than logic.

Can I get to be the guy that gets to work the transporter beam? I always noticed that the transporter operator moves the sliders s-l-o-w-l-y. I always wondered what would happen if somebody sneezed or was just in a big damn hurry and just slammed them up... or is it down.

OK, maybe somebody else should work the transporter. Just don't screw up the coordinates and send us over to AG, please. I don't think my phaser goes up high enough for that.

Hmmmm.... maybe we can forge an alliance and send a joint strike force to ....

This could get interesting.

Not Horta....Vorta

(If you're talking about the high rank dominion race from DS9 that ruled over the jem hadar, but were beneath the founders? Unless Horta is something from the original ST...in which case I apologise...)

I'll see if I have some time later today to go set something up...

The Horta are silicone based creatures in the original ST. They tunnel through rock and look something like what a dog throws up after eating a small animal.
