OMG that is too sad - aside from camping, there is no reason for that to exist. Are we really that lazy a race? lol

Quick and easy way to make one pancake with no clean up. Probably tastes like shit, though.

I could use stuff like that on the boat. How simple would it be? For once, I think I would like something in a can. It's a miracle.

To be technically accurate, it's pancake batter in a can. I was picturing a can of actual pancakes. Sort of like frozen pancakes but able to be stored at room temperature.

This was a letdown. I'm holding zewb personally responsible.

Breakfast will never be the same, as Spartan Foods of America pu4s it. Hot off the griddle from the Spartanburg, SC-based processor are Mama Mary's Homestyle pancakes--six microwavable, ready-to-eat pancakes in spiral-wound paperboard canister from Sealright. The company chose Sealright's Ultrakan [TM] packaging system, which forms the round, 6.333-in.-diameter, 3.9-in.-tall canister to assist its the newest member of the breakfast hope meal replacement segment.
looks like they come ina box now, though.

well, is it actually pre-processed batter? or has that person simply put it in a squeeze tube for application into the pan?

If the latter, it's not too bad of an idea, really. Have to watch out for lumps, though, and pancake batter isn't supposed to be whipped or anything.

Yes, commercially packaged batter in a squirt can, like CheezWiz.

I just bought a pack yesterday and they look pretty good.
I got them because I need a quick breakfast and I don't have much for storage space.

Doesn't seem like you'd get too many pancakes out of that. And I can only imagine how much that can costs.

I'll stick with pancakes from scratch or Bisquick thank you very much.
