Kind of related: Have more celebs died in 2016 than previous years?
Yes, if you count the use of pre-prepared obits by the press. But.... there are more celebs and more preprepared obits...... the graph does seem to indicate a significant increase though.

He didn't put on his list, that would be cheating, but putting it in the thread of dead celebs by mistake does no harm, and allows others to point and mock him.

...also, nobody ever told me whether Nikki Sixx is dq'd due to having already been dead once. |

OK, gotta admit my research was a bit sketchy ('cos I got bored so stopped looking up the ones I was pretty sure were stil alive), but so far..........I counted:
