I lied about going back to bed. Now trying to work out how best to schedule the day. Now we have too many options.

It's 10 am.

I've only been up for two hours.

I've just snuck in under the door for submitting my paper for the Social History conference next month. To be considered for the postgrad prize (i.e small bit of cash and publication in their journal) a paper copy had to be submitted by 12:00 today.

I've been working on it half heartedly for weeks, but this weekend I had to pull it together and finish it.

Got up this morning thinking I still had to cut some out to get it into the 2-3000 words limit. Then reread the reqs and it said 3-4000words! No cutting required *smiles*

Threw together a mash up of an abstract cut and pasted from my conference proposal and threw in the five 'keywords' and voila: ready to email and it wasn't even 10 am

My day is stretching out ahead of me. I am giving myself the day off. Couple of odds and sods to do, but nowt too heavy. Glorious!

Good morning all.

Off to work. Nothing earth shattering planned today.

Our clocks went forward today.
It's 10.44 now (according to the 'puter).

I felt wonderful when I woke up.
Realising it was Sunday. I wasn't waiting for the alarm to go off, I didn't have to rush and hustle.
Sunday is a gift now, because I don't hate Monday, because I don't worry all day. And also because I'm not alone. It's not a trial to get through. The 'rents have their routines and so do I. They go to Tesco in the morning (yay - house to myself!) and I bake a cake late morning or early afternoon.
And I get a dinner made for me in the evening.

Used to be I helped make or at least wash up, but then we had the spat about not eating together - the one where I pulled a face at Mum's coughing. We've avoided that situation pretty much ever since.

Part of me thinks we should be over this by now and I should extend an olive branch. Another part of me thinks at least this way there won't be another row - there've been too many over dinner, really.

I've got bronchitis. All stuffy this morning with impressive smoker
sounding cough with bits of lung coming up. Good morning
indeed.

It's 7am, I've been up for two hours. Must be PoloSeason#2MorningPractice#1.

Let me tell you, I'VE NEVER BEEN SO FUCKING SCARED IN MY WHOLE LIFE. I don't know how I'm going to do it again on Thursday I was shaking at the wheel which didn't help. I think maybe I'll take the dodge, people seem to think it's ok to bully the little car. but I don't want to be scared off. what if I never find the nerve to try again?
