Engineer Road

Edited this video from a ride with a couple of friends about 6 weeks ago in southern California. You'll see where the road gets eerie with a Tim Burton quality to it. It's 67 MB...

Sitting close to a 20 inch screen, halfway through I needed Dramamine.

Where was the video taken? I swear, that first segment reminds me so much of the drive from the south entrance of Yosemite down to Fresno, or at least sort of. I guess it's probably just the curviness of the road and the landscape.

And the last segment where you're sitting and waiting for the bus, what the video shows of it really reminds me of a small town near where my parents live.

But you said southern California, so that's probably all several hundred miles south of where I'm thinking of. Somewhere in the Sierra Nevadas though, right? They must all be pretty similar all the way through, just getting hotter and drier as you go south.

It's near Pala, CA. Not in the Sierras, though. I actually have a clip from a video done in and around Yosemite. This one includes a stop at the Ahwahnee...
