The Poor Losers
Everyone knows Tiger Woods has dominated golf for a while and he’s enjoying the fruits of his labors.
But what about the poor losers like Greg (The Shark) Norman who have to console themselves with distractions like this little boat. A 228 foot (69.5m), aluminum & composite, $70 million, runabout named Aussie Rules. It carries ONBOARD: A 42’ Game Fisher A 30’ See Vee A 22’ Novurania Equator (800hp) with beach landing capabilities. 2, 18’ Hewes Bone Fishers A 13’ Narwhal Rescue Boat 4 Yamaha Wave Runners All of which can be launched and retrieved from the big boat.

I would have guessed Greg Norman hasn't won $7 million on the course in his entire career, let alone $70 mil.
Somebody needs to look at his tax returns. |

I would like to have one of those wave runners but I couldn't afford the maintenance and gas.

I am very curious to know how the boats, especially the bigger ones, are launched and return to the ship. That's got to be some impressive mechanics. Or maybe they just get a whole lot of speed and hit a wave just right for a jump.

Was this boat made in Australia? The catamaran that they just smashed down in NYC had just come all the way from down under. Seems like American boat building is falling behind.

http://www.pgatour.com/stats/leaders/r/2004/110 but when you factor in his winery, apparal company, and various sponsorship deals, I can easily see him being worth double or triple that.. But a $70m boat.. Hmmm.. I wonder just how much he makes on the grapes.. |

If it was built was built in Australia, that would be $70m Aussie dollars. How they get the bigger boats launched and retrieved as claimed, I can't figure out.

Ok this boat thing has got me intreged .
From looking at the pics I would guess that the back ( where the rail is in the first pic) spilits and drops down to form a ramp , or it floods so you can just drive the boats right in and the second deck drops down to act like a elevator to lift the bigger boats up so they can be stored , then the smaller boats are stored below .
