Insured weight loss

With more and more weight loss pills and products hitting the shelves and big pharm companies like pfizer jumping on board, the obesity problem might start to take a different turn in the not so distant future. Since health experts are now ranking obesity on the list of America's most pressing health concerns I have a feeling that someone is going to start demanding that weight loss treatments be included in insurance plans. I'd predict that within the next 5 years we'll see a few very expensive medications that are reasonably effective at taking off the pounds. All that would be left to happen would be for some doctor to call it a 'cure' for obesity and then we'll all be footing the bill.

Probably cheaper than footing the bill for their triple-bypass surgery...

I personally know several skinny people that have had multiple bypass surgery.
