It was just something on my bucket list. I have a friend who's an artist, and she had the tools and equipment needed. I have none of the stuff to do it again, nor the place to do it. My friend also guided me with colors and techniques. My color perception isn't very good.

Thank you for the complement. I enjoyed doing it, but now onto my next item on my bucket list, the Swedish Bikini Team.

So I'm thinking about making some t-shirts for my parents and siblings for Christmas. My first try for an image. It's mostly a tracing, but comes from several different source images. I'm thinking of doing the various camping setups our family had growing up, from a VW Bug and a canvas tent to an actual VW Westfalia camper. Sort of a progression over the years. I'll need to do 4 more images if I go that route.

I wonder if a black line drawing would look better on a shirt, or one colored in?

yeah.

like a pastel blue amorphous shape behind the van, and some light color along edges of colored panels?

That's kinda cool. It does color well. I'm going to try coloring it and decide later after I compare the two versions.

Or maybe coloring the lines instead of coloring it in.
