OK. I was poking around the "who's online" link, because I get a kick out of what guests are looking at. Apparently somebody somewhere is linking to an attachment in that square melon IOTD thread a while ago, and a lot of people are looking at it. The erect nipple thread is getting more traffic again.

And then as I scrolled down, I saw this!

heh

to relieve your uncomfortable symptoms, take two bromides and call me in the morning. I suggest these two:

"Power corrupts" and "Ignorance is bliss"

Both are very good points. I'll be mindful. Thanks for the reminder.

Do we need both a "technology" (Computing, programming, science, electronics, telecommunications, etc.); AND an "internet" (Web sites, web development, email, chat, bandwidth, the net and society) forum?

Maybe there was a clear distinction way back in early cellar days, but now? When your computer is your tv, and your phone is your --everything.

My suggestion would be to consolidate.

None from here. I never know whether to put things in internet or entertainment, since most of my 'internet' stuff is actually online ent.

Just make a new one called Teh Interwebz. We will find all we need right there at our fingertips.

Why do we need home base and nothingland? The same types of threads go there. And we should combine sports and relationships, because sports really is about forging relationships. And music should go with quality images, it's all art.

Well would you just look at that? IM is being a smahtass.

no objections here. The guys are silent though. I wonder if they feel losing technology to teh interwebz is an assault on their manhood, like losing their man cave to a guest bedroom....?

Technology is more than the internet. Even more than computers.

Some other recent tech topics we've covered:

Robot Hummingbirds
Rocket Packs
Gravity Control by Laser
The end of Kodachrome
more...

I don't mind if you delete Internet, but leave Technology alone, please.

interwebs could go in technology, though? Or is that like a sewing machine table in the corner of the cave?

not saying the two are exactly equivalent, just that they are related and could be logically consolidated at this point. Just a thought I had.

Attention Sundae!

I love your name. It looks good on you.

So I'm thinking SG as a nickname might go out of fashion, and S is just too short,

What are your thoughts on Sun? You are very sunshiney.
