Any, and every, NFL game/season is full of "ifs".

Long Term Bets
*~*~*~*~*~*

NBA Championship 07/08

Boston Celtics 4/1

I do understand how some may not be interested in a 4/1 shot, however this team's defence, is close to being the greatest of all time!
Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce on the defencive side are monsters!
The true elite of this game!

Golden State Warriors 33/1

Fact: Last years success against the Mavericks was for real.
The Warriors are as good as they looked, and are capable, based on not having to play the Celtics, of getting into the Finals.
And 33/1 looks very attractive!

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Howard and Paul make it interesting to look at their 16/1 and 28/1 teams.
Orlando's hopes look Grim having Boston as their opponents before the Finals.
While the Hornets have many teams that are capable of beating them.
I do favour Chris Paul's game better than Nash's.
Paul's defence is of greater value than Nash's assists.
Add the fact that Paul is scoring like a mofo, and you've got New Orleans, easily, a better team than Phoinex!

Wouldn't it be interesting to watch a Lakers vs Celtics Finals?

I'd still have money on the Celtics should it come to that.
For those of you who would want to have money on the Lakers in that scenario, I suggest you place it now while the price is at 16/1

Super Bowl

New York Giants @ New England Patriots(-12)

I got an early wager on the Giants at +13.5, But I can't really give that, for at this time its at +12.0.

The people's money is in fact on the Patriots.
Record breaking wager's in this years Superbowl.
Who would have thunk it?

There are 2 possibilities.
1st possibility: The Patriots win under the spread.
This would result in great profit collecting the billions wagered on the Patriots in this game.
2nd possibility: The Giants win the game.
This would result in the greatest profit for they would not only collect the billions wagered on the patriots in this game, but they'd also collect all the long term bets on the Patriots.

Bet Heavily on the Giants(+12)

Put some money on the Giants win at 4,25

I'd talk about the game, but its not really about the game, is it?

I was actually looking to quote myself from a few months back where i mentioned that they'd give you an excuse as to why the masses will lose their money on the Patriots, but I can't find it.
Well...... it looks like the excuse will be Brady.
It certainly looks like something being set up.

I thought it was Belicheck setting up all the dumbasses in the media to concentrate on "das boot." I'm anxious to see if he is even really hurt.

I get the feeling Brady is pulling a media stunt with "das boot". We shall see how he is by gametime. So far things shape up to be quite interesting and am eagerly awaiting developments. @WHIP, what makes you so confident the Giants will win this crucial game?

If the line has moved that far, doesn't it mean people are betting the Giants?

Robsterman, read carefully before posting.
You're not making sense.

In heavily wagered games... no.
In this case, as I predicted to those close to me, the price did go down.
This results in those who wagered on the Patriots at -13.5 to place more money now that its down to -12.
Its guidance towards the loosing side.
They've got this down to a science.
This game is pre-determined.

LJ LJ LJ....
I thought we were on the same side here.
I think that me being right would benefit you more than me being wrong.
I mean, you think after these past 2 years in this thread, people would kinda see the evidence of the whole money factor?

Would this not cause one to maybe wager a very large sum of mone on something that is pre-determined?
Would it feel like gambling?
No, it would feel like what it is.... free money.

..........and just for the record.
I'm saying:Place a bit of money on the Giants winning the game at 4.25.

Place A LOT of money on the Giants beating the spread!

i'm right there with you LJ. I don't give a rat's ass about either team but i really don't want to see belichek get another ring so i'll be cheering for the giants. but it'll be in the back of my head that WHIP will think it proves his money ideas right. and that'll annoy me.

Money and media are the two keys to taking the so called "FREE MONEY"
Media guides the money.
The Money is always taken.

In this thread, I've mentioned media and money on some games.
Here's a copy and paste of all extreme media brainwashed and heavily wagered, one sided games(Free money games).
and the results

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Quote:
Minnesota Vikings @ Green Bay Packers(-4.5)

I know the Game is just an hour away, but I have to comment on it.
There is some serious media brainwashing going on here.
Favre this and Favre that.
Excellent conditions favoring Favre, the Green bay packers, his final game in Green bay....Favre favre favre favre Green bay Green Bay Green bay.

Now, i've been watching the media for some time now, and whenever you see extreme brainwashing going on, ALWAYS BET AGAINST.

So yeah, Green bay is 4,5 point favorites

Bet on the Vikings!!!
............result : Minnesota Vikings 7-9 Green Bay Packers(-4,5) ....WIN

Quote:
San Fransisco 49ers - Denver Broncos(-9,5)

This would have to be the best bet of the week!
A lot of people are gonna lose money on this game betting on the Broncos.
I honestly believe that the San Fransisco 49ers can win this game.
Gore's final game of the season will be a good one.
49ers have a terrible weakness, they're terrible against the pass.
Passing the ball is not one of the Broncos qualities.
Even if Denver manages to squeeze a win in here, it will very tough.
9,5 is huge in a game where the time will be constantly ticking.

Bet on the 49ers!!!
....result : San Fransisco 49ers 26-23 Denver Broncos(-9,5) ........WIN

Quote:
Indianapolis Colts - Baltimore Ravens(-3,5)

This is what I call FREE CASH!
EASILY the BEST BET OF THE WEEK!
First of all, you all must understand that the same people collecting the (tens of)billions of dollars wagered this week are the same people that control the media.
Now, if i controlled the media, and also collected all that money,
I would try to use the media to mis-direct the people that will be wagering the money.
THAT is exactly what they're doing!
LOL @ the Ravens.
LOL @ everyone walking around brainwashed thinking that these Ravens have the ability to actually beat the Indianapolis Colts

I stake my reputation on this game along with way to much money of mine and all of the people that surround me who have been making a profit off my picks and system this year.
LOL at the Ravens being -3,5 point favorites

BET ON THE COLTS !!!!!!!
.....result : Indianapolis Colts 15-6 Baltimore Ravens(-3,5) ..........WIN

Quote:
Philadelphia Eagels - New Orlean Saints(-5,5)

Here's some more brainwashing!
Never have I ever seen more fixed games to favour a team than this year with the Saints.
Ok, it was ok for a week.... almost expected,
New Orleans needed something to cheer about after the disaster,
first game was a nice gimme and called for,
but NEVER did i expect them to let this team into the playoffs without a team,
and thats exactly the situation.
The Saints are the worst team of the 12 that made the playoffs(Wildcard included).
Yeah yeah, I can hear your responses,
but all those little things you have to say about these saints have been fed to you over the past 5-6 weeks by the media.....
The same guys that are gonna take your money when you bet on these Saints.
Now I'm an Eagels fan, and saying all this actually hurts my team.
I could have just said that the Eagels are the *hit, they're too good they're super, bet on them,
and of course you would have all believed me after the fact.
But I like to be honest, YES the Philadelphia Eagels are great.
But this is not a fair matchup.....there are 18 teams in the NFL that are better than these Saints....thats reality, count on it, BET ON IT!
I'm LMAO @ the 5,5 points

BET ON THE EAGELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
.....result : Philadelphia Eagels 24-27 New Orlean Saints(-5,5) ......WIN

Quote:
Jacksonville Jaguars @ New England Patriots(-13)
This is the 2nd best bet of the year.
The best bet being next weeks bet against the Patriots in the AFC final.
Of course that would mean that the Patriots have to win this game in order for that to happen. And impressivley they will win, but just under the spread for profit purposes.

Bet on the Jaguars!!!
....results : Jacksonville Jaguars 20-31 New England Patriots(-13.0) ....WIN

although retractred, it is exact.

Quote:
San Diego Chargers @ New England Patriots(-14.0)

This is by far, the best bet of the season.

$$$F$$$R$$$E$$$E$$$
$$$C$$$A$$$S$$$H$$$$

Bet on the Chargers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
....result : San Diego Chargers 12-21 New England Patriots(-14) .....WIN

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

There is no coincidence.
Luck, has nothing to do with my success.

aren't you the same guy that argued a couple years ago that sheffield wednesday and united would always be kept apart by the powers that be? and that Champions League games are fixed?

Wherever the money is, they take it away.
Wether thats the superbowl, the Champions league final, the Uefa cup final, or the world cup final.

Why don't you take a little look into recent history to see wether or not they took the money.
On soccer finals, the money is laid on either of the teams winning.
The draw is the most profitable.
How interesting to see how most heavily wagered soccer games head into overtime.

Of course you can call it coincidence.
