We ordered 8 plates (rolls) for 5 of us, which was too much. Didnt stop me from wanting dessert though, hihi. But we all shared that one plate of fried banana and green tea ice cream. I will try their mochi next time. :-)

Thank you. It would've tasted better if I didn't over bake it. My mom, who likes her food a bit dry and overcooked, thought it was delicious. My sister thought the chicken needed more seasoning and dry, the mash potato was bland, and the corn wasn't sweet enough. However, she feels that I should cook again so she won't have to.

I just came from the 40 maps thread, and for a second I couldn't figure out what countries your plate of food was supposed to represent...

Well of course, you need more practice... and being a good sister she's willing to let you.

Ha! Cook AND clean? Blah.....

Anyways, I found a bunch of recipes I'd like to try out. She's okay with me trying the chicken and fish recipes but when I tried to get ingredients to make desserts, she discouraged me. The woman actually stopped me from buying Disaronno??!!?? Seriously????

Hey, you're 21. You can buy any damn thing you please. If she doesn't like it, don't give her any.

heheheh.....I didn't have enough cash at the moment and didn't want to use the credit card (my sister just paid it off for me ). I'll probably buy it when my wallet fattens a bit. By the way, the amarreto is to make cake. Of course, I can also enjoy the leftover.

Zucotto Pudding

I was at Home Depot the other day and Spec's Liquor is in the same shopping center. I juuuust had to stop in. I checked out their amaretto selection and found something cheap. I figured it's for baking, so I may not need to spring for something that cost 3X as much. Anyways, here's the preparation for it. The finished product is not ready to eat until it's been in the fridge for 24-48 hrs.

Forgot to take a picture before cutting it. My cousin's wife said, "It's actually not bad!" I told her she was supposed to say It's good!

I'm missing something here, you smooshed up a bunch of stuff, cookies, nuts, booze, chocolate, ricotta, and refrigerated it. That's all? It looks like it was baked?
