Self-Involved

How self-involved are you? The threads that get the biggest hits are (usually) threads that ask you something about yourself. Sometimes I feel that people here are not so much interested in others as they are interested in hearing themselves yammer on and on.

Just an observation.

Mileage may vary.

How self-involved am I? Well...when I read your post, Bri, I thought that you had accidentally posted something that you had meant as a PM to me alone.

by 'you guys', i assume you mean yourself?

i, personally am the epitome of humility, and i challenge you to state otherwise. i'm so selfless infact, that i usually only re read my own posts 7 or 8 times.

here are some more interesting facts about me:

1. I'm a great lover.
2. I look damn sexy in a black suit
3. I can come up with an analogy for almost anything on the spot, and make sense.
4. my singing voice is phenomenal. especially my twangy country singer one.
5. Irony is my friend.

My observation is that the threads that get the most action are those about Brianna's love life.

Actually, the hugest, longest running thread here is the word association one. "This is not porn" seems to have gone on forever, too, and that one seems to be about people trying to solve some obscure never ending puzzle. Neither one really allows people to go on and on about themselves, so I think there are some holes in your theory.. Of couse, I seldom post to those threads myself.

Oh, I was just being morose yesterday. Bad news came in the mail--why is it that bad-news mail always comes on Saturday when you can't do anything about it? And, my ex is being a real PITA.

My tag-line, "Is Done" is there to remind me that I NEED to be done with a lot of things.

I've got a pretty bad headache today. It's like a hangover, except I haven't had anything to drink for several days. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow.
