I only liked the original Night of the Living Dead and saw absolutely no reason for any sequels, or especially for remakes. The notion of remakes of the sequels is so absurd that I am unable to comment. My brain vapor locks.

That was Dawn of the Dead.

I like all of 'em! Return of the Living Dead and Shaun of the Dead are my favorites.

I liked the captioning option that explained all of the references, visual cues, etc on Shaun of the Dead. For example, a character's name refers to how they will die.

Of the 2 choices given it would have to be Dawn of the Dead. I haven't seen Land of the Dead and I don't intend to - the reviews didn't give me any reason to expect an improvement on the original.....

But Shaun of the Dead gets my vote, absolutely! It was my favourite film last year, which was a relief, as I'd been waiting for it to come out & therefore risked disappointment.
