Unless of course your alzheimers or dementia manifests itself in an unpleasant way. My nan was convinced she was being taken off to a special room in the nursing home each night and raped and tortured. Begged Ma not to leave her there. Was hard for Mum. Christ alone knows what Nan was having to deal with.
Add that to my list of morbid terrors: insanity/impaired hold on reality.

(moans). the local news showed video of the burning car, the sobbing mother, and interviewed the person who helped her haul her kids out.
Very exploitative and also: horrible. ETA: The news reported this morning that she was driving a Ford Expedition, an d. . . she was pregnant.

Being fed into a wood chipper or being slowly dismembered
------------------------------------------------------------------------- When I was 6, my father and I were at the A&P, there was a raging car fire. The driver was trapped. He was screaming and pounding on the windows, and every time he hit the window, I could see the flesh that burned off and stuck to the glass. When the fire department got there, he was gone. There wasn't a damned thing anyone could do. The fire was so intense, the asphalt melted.

Anybody ever watch the TV show "1,000 ways to Die"?
It's like the Darwin Awards on Steroids.

So what is the issue? Bad luck on her part, nothing more. Not fate, not God's will, just bad fucking luck. Period.
