The UnderTurtles!

Jinx is terrible at naming pets, don't listen to her. She gives them human names. Terrance and Trevor indeed. Those are human names for boys with wiry hair and too many freckles. and post moar pics.

Rocky and Stoner.

Terminator and Rambo.

Pinky and Perky

Good thinking Monst - I don't know if J noticed, but I thought it was really awesome that the original Rocky movie featured a pair of turtles which Rocky owned, Cuff and Link -- and then in the sixth installment Rocky Balboa, the very same Cuff and Link make an appearance, all growed up.

(edit: corrected turtle ownership)

I didn't know about the Rocky thing (and I must have seen the movies a zillion times)

Adrian! (that was always a boy's name in the UK)

Here's a copy of the Philadelphia Inquirer article that mentions Cuff and Link.

My two turtles are also Red-Eared Sliders. If I manage them well, and they remain in good health, they will outlive me.

If one's skittish and the other isn't: Tigger and Eyore.

number 2 there will come out and sit on the rock, but only if I leave the room or remain motionless for a long time. The camera activity scared him/her off. (They are the same sex, but I don't know what sex yet)

Is there such a thing as one way mirror film that you can stick on the glass so he won't see you when his light is on? Maybe he'd be afraid of his reflection though.

What I think I need is a big rock or aquarium plant that they can always hide behind, if they choose.

The turtles are adorable! I have a pond filled with them! I supposed they are hibernating now. I would call turtles skittish. We would see a hundred or so sunbathing and when we drove down the driveway they would all hit the water! We have some snappers in that pond too. They look like prehistoric reptiles.

Finally, both basking.

Scale, these guys are 1 inch in size.

Turns out it will actually take several years before they can be sexed! Their names are now Tiger and Moon. I like Tigger and Eeyore, but I don't know whether the reference will last their lifetime.
