I am the (proud?) furfather of four little Shih-Tzu pups.
I originally thought they were a hybrid of Shih-Tzu and Boston Terrier, but upon further research into the likely father, it looks like Shih's only. They were born this morning between 0630 and 0900 MDT.

Brian, those puppies are so sweet. My mother has 2 shih-tzus. They can be the nicest little dogs. They certainly love being spoiled, anyway.

Bad news: early this morning, we lost one of the pups.

I believe that the mother slept on one and smothered it, but it's only a guess.

Look deeply into my eyes... do you see any sympathy in there? I thought not.

I love my doggies, even the little sissy one. And the puppies are the cutest things! I have to restrain myself from picking them up all the time and watching them snuggle into my hand and doze off.

It's bad enough my wife is always cuddling one or another, but my SIL even comes up and takes one or even all three to cuddle. If I joined in, the poor pups would hardly get a moments' peace!

So anyway, stay tuned. More puppy pictures will be in as soon as I find the camera cable.

Sorry bout the smothered pup. Here's to the rest of them having fulfilled and well loved one - as they have so far.

I'm not a dog person, but even I'm not immune to teh cuteness of puppies. Moar please!

The puppies are beginning to see! The surviving male has one eye open now and is looking around, seeing the world for the first time!

Now where did my digicam get to?
