Oh Jesus, not this shit again!

Would you feel my death was so tragic if I laid down in the middle of I-10, or I-95 for you Philly-rats?

On I-10 or I-95 is there only one car, going very slowly? And do you stand up when you lay down?

Actually, I'd find it more tragic if you did it on Loop 610.

It turns out that what she was protesting was construction to close a tunnel between Gaza and Egpyt which was being used to transport people, munitions, etc. without detection. From here:

Quote:
The tunnels Corrie was protecting are underneath the Israel-Egypt border. These elaborate structures, often wood paneled and with electricity, communications equipment and even elevators, are typically dug inside residential homes and concealed under bathrooms, living rooms and bedrooms. They are used to smuggle weapons and explosives -- not to mention drugs and prostitutes -- from Egypt into Gaza.

...In her diary, published on the web by the "nonviolent" ISM, Corrie writes sympathetically of the killing of Israelis by terrorists. "Try to imagine, please, the courage it requires," she gushes.
This doesn't make it much better that a young woman has died, but it gives more understanding of the situation.

Considering how heavily influenced by Zionists even the US media is half a world away, accepting as fact an opinion piece straight from the Israel National News wouldn't seem very wise. And where are the pictures of a tunnel? The isreali army would plaster such evidence all over the news, if it actually existed, to justify their killing of Rachel. Furthermore the writer of that editorial called Rachel 'violent'. That in itself should have tipped you off that he was not being truthful.

Well, suicide bombers tend to blend in with the crowd, so you never know.

Hmm, not as much as Lin on a bad night.

Did Jane Fonda burn American flags in Hanoi?

What did they do to Tokyo Rose?

I know they executed Lord Haw-Haw.

How do you even define treason anymore?

Let me elaborate.

This woman was promoting Anti-Americanism to young kids.

Frankly, I find this no less repugnant than the people strapping fake dynamite to their kids, or having them pose with an AK-47.

Fuck her.

JERUSALEM - Israeli troops raided the West Bank offices of the International Solidarity Movement on Thursday and seized a wanted member of the militant Islamic Jihad group, the army said.
The International Solidarity Movement was the group Rachel Corrie was working with.

But she was in Gaza and maybe the violent parts of the organization were mainly in the west bank. *snort*

She looks like she is protesting actions of her government that she believes is unconscionable. Do you think it is wrong for a citizen of a democracy to protest something? Tell us how you feel about the Boston Tea Party. Or do you think it is only wrong to protest racism, killing, and destruction? Is there anything you feel strongly enough about that you would publicly protest knowing that you would be either ignored or vilified by the mainstream press?
