3/26/2003: McDonald's becomes target
Two images for one, trying to make up for lost time. The first above is from South America, I think; the second below is definitely from South Korea. A world apart, united by common protest focused at the most visible and most available target. A target that is almost certainly owned and run by local franchisees, but who cares about details when you're bent on uncivil property destruction. |

I always suspected that Ronald McDonald was a Nazi. Now UT has provided photographic proof.

I saw the guy with the Bush mask and rifle on the news this morning. He was being stuffed into the back seat of a police car by several cops. He was not handcuffed and still holding the rifle!
WTF? Even if it was a plastic toy rifle, no cop in his right mind would let a perp hang on to ANYTHING. |

I had a very nice lunch at McDonald's today: 2 cheeseburgers and a small diet coke. A good value at $2.97.

The Koreans were at least a bit creative and amusing in their protest.
