What are you, Kleinshelly? An archeologist? You have 9 posts as of this writing and they mostly seem to be about unearthing threads that were never of much consequence to begin with and have disintegrated into dust long ago. If you MUST exhume threads, couldn't they be more recent like maybe from the Middle Ages, at least?

Oh and welcome, I guess.

Hey, we constantly bitch about new people not taking the time to look around and get a feeling for the Cellar. That's exactly what kleinshelley's been doing, rummaging through the attic, finding hidden treasures. There is a ton of diamonds in the dust.

Anything relating to abortion at any stage is fertile ground for growing a stem cell debate as well. We've been covering alot of that in class recently and abortions are looking like the #1 way to get large amounts of cheap stem cells. Of course we're supposed to be politically correct and advocate the requirement of release forms from the mother to use the tissue, but almost all of my profs think that's crap as do I.
I don't think a continued discussion of abortion is going to generate anything more useful than the discussion of Israel vs Hisbollah is doing right now in Current Events, but it's a starting point for a whole bunch of other good discussions!
