Starmaker: Free Stage Names....

Apparently actress Googie Withers died at 94.

Googie Withers?

I can do better than that. And none of this computer generated shit either. tell me what sort of performer you see yourself as, and I will give you a stage name. Might be Jane Smith. Might be Bookcase W'eatherspon. But no Googies.

If you're feeling really brave, I will dictate your outfit for your first press conference/red carpet walk. But be warned, I'm all about lady gaga's meat dress......

but you have to want it......

Oh, I'd be a stage performer for sure. Old school theatre style.

I would probably be in avant garde off off off off broadway independent stage productions. I'll probably smoke a lot of cigarettes, with a holder thingy for effect, and will be a tortured artist desperately working to perfect my craft. I will become the part, especially if the part is also a tortured soul searching for the meaning of existence. I will want to be alone.

So, what's my name and what's my 'schtick'?

Clodfobble: Charmiee DuPree, wearing a lemon and bright turquoise feathered hat so tall that theaters have to reconstruct doorways to accomodate you. Which of course they do. Paired with a skin tight floor length turquoise dress and enormous dangly diamong earrings. A young gentleman follows a few steps behind, his pockets filled with all the items you might require from your purse were you to carry one, and to catch your cape that you have a habit of just dropping to one side when you take it off. You expect him not to let it hit the ground.

Infinite Mockey: Carlin Sulksetter. You have your hair cut in a man's short back and sides style, wear plenty of black eyeliner, mascara and bright red lipstick which you don't touch up often enough. No foundation, no blusher, no eyeshadow. you either wear a figure-hugging red dress and matching sour-inch heeled shoes, or a shirt and tie (sleeved rolled up) and pin stripe trousers (no jacket). Either way, you always stride down the red carpet as if in a fury, eyes fixed down like you're deep in thought. You never stub out your cigarettes and take no care where they land.

I'd be a singer of one-hit wonders from the 70's. Sometimes though I'd throw in a few 60's movie songs by Bacharach like Whats New Pussy Cat, The Look of Love, and Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head.

ME: Joanie Johnson. You'll wear thick-rimmed tortoiseshell shades which you remove mid-interview to reveal spectacular eyes. plenty of scarves in browns, golds and reds. I'm feeling a little Jackie O vibe here. Tight black pants and black top and these boots:

I'd be a shit-heel in some coming of age movie where the wimpy star, who I bully early, ends up besting me at my own game.

Jim: Lumber Patrickson Jr. You usually wear torn cargo shorts and sandles, three-day stubble and a clean but worn wifebeater. For the red carpet, you don't shave, but you put on a tux. And pink crocs. And you take forever to make the walk because you sign all of your fans' crocs with a gold sharpie you carry for the occasion.

I am a stage magician who makes things appear and disappear in a puff of smoke. I pull coins from peoples ears and live pigeons from places you wouldn't believe. I saw women in half with a chainsaw, then put them back together, but not always the right way. I also chainsaw hobos, but not on stage. For my finale, I pull myself out of a rabbit's hat.

Well?
