Well we are back. At least I am. Jimmy should be at his pops place by now. There is no country anymore. Houses sitting on 2-3 acres. Just too close together.
This first pic is of his bike unloaded from the u haul trailer. I must say it was a jolly good trailer. A place for the front tire. Plenty of hooks. The ramp/gate was a heavy sucker and the trailer was built like a tank.

Looks like we stopped for a break. If you look at my windshield you will see it is wet and so are we. No overpasses to get under in the country.

It was a good day other than a little rain. I was afraid it would be terribly hot like the day before.

We did. Tarheel kept doing his impression of a storm chaser, though. We skirted along the edge of the storm, getting spattered twice before it finally overtook us. We ended up there in a rich looking neighborhood. . It rained hard enough that you could see the sheets slice across the puddles.
Then the Po-Po pulled up to see what we were up to. Said he had a call about suspicious characters. ... But friendly conversation and the rain kept the cop in his truck. Not that we were up to anything other than waiting out the storm.
Then we saw the same cop later as i ran a late yellow / early red light. . He got behind me, but when we came to a light, he smiled and waved back when i did.
