2/8/2006: Hippo versus antelope
Clodfobble Wednesday Feb 8 02:06 PM I like how the antelope's expression never changes. wolf Wednesday Feb 8 02:11 PM That might be a sable. footfootfoot Wednesday Feb 8 02:29 PM Which one is the Christian? Quote:

Carbonated_Brains Wednesday Feb 8 02:31 PM The danger of a hippo is that its teeth are razor sharp on the sides, and it's generally accepted that more people die of hippos in Africa than any other mammal. Carbonated_Brains Wednesday Feb 8 02:33 PM One minute too slow =( Elspode Wednesday Feb 8 02:57 PM The last shot looks like the horned creature is about to ram one of the horns through the hippo's mouth and out the left nostril. Ouch. Carbonated_Brains Wednesday Feb 8 03:07 PM Based on the scars all over the hippo's side, I'd say this is a common event. barefoot serpent Wednesday Feb 8 03:24 PM I h8 passive-agressive antelopes. axlrosen Wednesday Feb 8 04:09 PM Quote:

sandra77 Wednesday Feb 8 04:56 PM There are lots of great/interesting shots at this site. I wish I could read whatever language it is in. Sun_Sparkz Wednesday Feb 8 05:45 PM That antelope thing is SO damn beautiful. and that hippo looks so cute in the first shot. capnhowdy Wednesday Feb 8 05:48 PM A classic example of horny meets fat. lumberjim Wednesday Feb 8 05:58 PM i bet they're old pals. this is probably a common event. xoxoxoBruce Wednesday Feb 8 06:17 PM I'm with you, LJ. plaguemask Wednesday Feb 8 06:34 PM The antelope's a bull nyala. I understand the confusion, though. It does look quite a lot like a greater kudu. Leah Wednesday Feb 8 10:18 PM I'm sure they are playing, the ducks in the last photo don't look too disturbed at all, play time for all. Nice photo's xoxoxoBruce Thursday Feb 9 01:30 AM Welcome to the Cellar, plaguemask. footfootfoot Thursday Feb 9 09:12 AM never eat anything bigger than your head tang Thursday Feb 9 10:07 AM I'm with LJ too. I think the Hippo is just a youngster and they're playing. If a full-grown Hippo with a full complement of teeth got his jaws on the antelope's neck it would be over for the antelope. Hippos are so nasty that in the wild full-grown Crocodiles avoid them. Griff Thursday Feb 9 06:50 PM You slayed me Cap'n. capnhowdy Thursday Feb 9 10:17 PM I was speaking from experimen... I mean experience. May Tuesday Feb 28 08:15 AM Very nice photos Undertoad! I liked the little duck at the background! vocalperk Sunday Mar 5 02:02 AM site language Quote:
