Some Buddhist went to the trouble of delivering their message via the common fly. I guess this is an achievement, but I would be much more impressed if they had encoded their message in the fly's DNA, and allowed it to breed with other flies, creating an entire species with the message.

You should know better than that. DNA is constantly being rearranged, mixed with other DNA, and shuffled around. So if the Buddhist encoded a message like "The Dalai Llama's successor has been smuggled out of Tibet", someone later would read "George W. Bush had unnatural sex with the Kwisatz Haderach"
Friday Mar 2 07:46 AM "George W. Bush had unnatural sex with the Kwisatz Haderach" Ha ha! I'm not sure I needed to picture Sting and Bushy makin it first thing this morning.
Speaking of Buddism, I guess the Taliban are systematically destroying those massive statues of Budda which managed to survive the Afghan wars. When it comes to other folks religions I'm willing to tolerate almost anything, except intolerance.
Friday Mar 2 03:10 PMSting played Feyd Ruatha, not the Kwisatz Haderach (I'm probably butchering the names). Kyle MacLachlan was the Kwisatz Haderach.
Friday Mar 2 04:28 PMI bow to your superior recall. All I really remember about the flick was how different the film-makers vision of Arrakis was from the one Herberts novels created in my teenage mind. Thanks for the flashback.

Very impressive, certainly. But my grasp of Mandarin (I suppose that's the language) is apparently inferior to yours- what does this read? Nothing about the Kwitzach Zaderach, I trust.
Or about rogue Mentats,
Z
