A child places his arms in a tray of milk as rats drink at the
Karni Mata Hindu temple in the town of Deshnoke in India,
June 20, 2002. Rats, hundreds and hundreds of them,
are everywhere at the temple and woe betide anyone
who takes fright and steps on one. (Reuters/Kamal Kishore)

Those two rats in the lower left look like they're talking to each other as they belly up to the milk bowl.
rat#1: "You thinking what I'm thinking?"
rat#2: "Yeah, there's a lot of good eating on a kid that size!"

Bitman Wednesday Jun 26 03:51 PMArby's Rat Strips .. because rats don't have fingers.
What bothers me most is that lotsa rats mean lotsa droppings ... and the person in back is barefoot.

An Indian woman pours an offering of milk for rats
at the Karni Mata Hindu temple in the town of Deshnoke
in India's northwestern state of Rajasthan. Rats, hundreds
and hundreds of them, are everywhere at the temple. According
to legend the rats are incarnations of human beings from the
local Charan tribe whose souls are temporarily inhabiting the
body of a rat until their rebirth. (Kamal Kishore/Reuters)
Griff Thursday Jun 27 07:23 AMOn second thought, I'm not real comfortable with "processing" animals that may have souls. Once again ethics suppress opportunity.

All of them? There must be a hell of a lotta people dying in that tribe. Maybe they should save the milk for the living...
And what kinda milk is that anyway?
dave Monday Jul 1 05:12 PMYak milk. Once you pick the hairs out, it's quite nutritious.
