Feb 24, 2010 [b]: "Reclaimed" Art

I saw this passed around in Facebook. It is done by an artist Sayaka Kajita Ganz. She was born in Japan and currently lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana. They are done entirely from plastic utensils and other miscellaneous "reclaimed" items. Here is a link to her website. Some truly amazing stuff! http://www.sayakaganz.com/Home.html

We've had horse sculpture before from unusual materials. I'm sure someone will remind us where.
These have an amazing dynamism from a simple base. I like.

... and ceiling horse is half a length ahead of basement horse as the enter the final straight...

"What did you do with my sculpture?"

"That was a sculpture?"

I recycled it.

Happy Monkey  Sunday Feb 28 01:12 AM

Here's what they're running from:

SPUCK  Sunday Feb 28 05:53 AM

Let's see now.

3 people x 3 months x 20days/month x 8hrs/day = 1440hrs.

Price = $6,000

$6,000/1,440hrs = $4.17/hr...

I suggest they change jobs.
