April 16, 2012 Boots on the Titanic

Titanic news is all the rage these days! I must admit I actually did go to see Titanic 3D. I didn't see it the first time, so I don't know if the 3D enhanced the viewing or not, but it was an impressive film.

Here is an image of some boots found aboard the sunken Titanic.

It brings the legend to life to see these empty boots. I never cease to be amazed at the thoroughness of the great deep as a burial chamber. It is amazing that the bones disappear, but not the boots.

Maybe we should give up our burials and cremations and give our dead a burial in the bottom of the sandy drink.

Somebody got their sea-legs.

I have seen the Titanic exhibit twice, and each time was amazed at the items that they were able to bring up and preserve.

Well, at least we know what happened to footfoot...

That's all that's left of the shoeshine boy.

Your comments are callous. You may be in step with each other, but many soles were lost, and you're acting like a bunch of heels.

sexobon  Wednesday Apr 18 08:52 AM

You still have time to edit in a *stick out "tongue"* smilie at the end for your coup de grāce.

ZenGum  Wednesday Apr 18 09:04 AM

That's lacist!

BigV  Thursday Apr 19 01:47 AM

I shoe'd give you the boot hard enough to leave a welt that would last. Now, step up and buckle down you vamp you.

ZenGum  Thursday Apr 19 03:05 AM

Is that what pumps you up?
