November 1, 2012 - All Saints' Day

General info about All Saints Day in the USofA

All Saints Day pageant at St. Philomena Shrine

St. Cecilia's in Memphis, Tennessee

What fresh hell is this?

I stayed as a guest with a family in Germany who lived right next to a graveyard. Lots of the graves had little lights on them (it wasn't All Saints' Day) - I thought it looked peaceful and friendly.

Ripped off from pagans!

Our party house/crash pad is right across the street from the city cemetery (where I occasionally worked in days gone by).

They're wonderful neighbors. Never complain about the noise/music...

I wonder who the pagans ripped it off from? And who did it before them? Many years from now when there is a new religion people will be grumbling "Ripped off from christians!"
