Let me introduce you to the most persistent bird in the history of the world. Definitely does NOT help that he is white. A co-worker commented: “Well, it’s probably toasty warm…” |
Respecting those that do not understand the significance, let me explain: The public had been watching the Sistine Chapel smokestack for the signal of white smoke that meant a new Pope had been elected. Black smoke meant that the Catholic Cardinals did not have successful ballots that morning or afternoon.
