Oct 22nd, 2014: Doodling

When I doodle on a piece of paper, I'm always amazed if it ends up vaguely recognizable, and even more so if it resembles what I was trying to draw. More often, it appears to be an exercise of filling in random shapes until the paper is covered.

The claim on Imgur is, a person unknown killed a three hour wait to have his car repaired.

Quote:
"I'll just doodle" he said, and grabbed a ball point and a coffee cup.

To me this rates between an, "Are you kidding me", and "No way I'm buying that shit".
Note the lettering is in relief, which means color everything but the letters.
But wait, there's more... The colored/carved chain around the bottom, and then the inside, which I'd deem impossible.

And then walked away and left the cup behind?
OK, that makes sense... there wasn't anymore room to doodle.

Now, how are you going to doodle on the inside walls of cups? Can ball point pens even write at that angle?

Clodfobble  Wednesday Oct 22 03:17 PM

I used to work with professional artists at the videogame company, and I can think of at least one who could have done that, maybe another. They doodled just like that through most meetings, on anything that could find.

Rare talent, for sure, but they're definitely out there.

The Styrofoam crushes and breaks, though. I'm still having a hard time buying the story.

Maybe it was Cheeming Boey

I've seen these before and it seems pretty likely it was here. Anyone else remember them?

That car! Then a bird craps on it - a seagull - half a cup of fast food and fish excrement. Blah!

More coffee cup art, this time it's Heisenberg.
