Apr 17th, 2016: Love Story... Sort Of

Crazy-awesome, but I bet you'd need earplugs to ride in it!

My old and much-loved Plymouth that I drove during the mid-90s had a Mopar slant-six 225 motor in it, and I read somewhere way back when that with a few minor modifications it was one of about 2 or 3 auto engines capable of being used in a Cessna or similar-size small craft.

No, my Plymouth was nowhere near as pretty or as awesome as the hybrid truck. I bought it out of necessity and quickly learned that it was covered under the informal street law of "Cars that ugly never have insurance so don't hit it (VERY handy driving in Seattle) and almost never have valuables inside (except that one time some Ore-goon-ian moron shot out 3 of my windows to get about $3 worth of pop cans out of the back seat)." I would happily bet that the hybrid is insured for more money than I've seen in my entire life.
