xoxoxoBruce Wednesday Jun 21 01:19 AMJune 21st, 2017: Octopus’s Garden
When the movie Jaws came out everyone was freaked about dipping their toes in the ocean for awhile… except the few
intrepid folks who were eventually ripped apart on jagged teeth.
But marine biologist Alexander Semenov is the head of the diving at Moscow State University’s White Sea Biological Station.
He swims under Jaws, down where the Sun don’t shine, and 50% to 80% of the critters on Earth live. Nobody knows,
because we don’t know what’s there, so he takes pictures around the Octopus’s Garden trying to catalog them.
He also posts pictures on Flickr.
Most of the pictures draw oohs and ahhs, plus a lot of what-the-hell-is-thats.
Some pictures promote mixed emotions
Diaphone Jim Wednesday Jun 21 12:07 PMWow! A Creationist's nightmare.
I especially like the machine gun belt and the horseless "nude"ibranch.
Semenov's photostream on Flickr is astounding as well as exhausting; and that is just page 1 of 20.
Looking for more info on Ms Godiva, I came across a forum I have somehow missed before:
