Aug 18th, 2017: Kim’s Bicycle

A certain unnamed European city (I deduced it’s in Denmark) has been pushing people to not drive cars,
but walk or bike instead. With this goal in mind you have to buy a $100 per year parking sticker which is
only valid on your block. A second vehicle will cost you $150 per month.
Bicycles, even the big cargo carrying kind, park for free on the sidewalk. The city decided motorcycles can
no longer park on the sidewalk like they used to, but must buy a sticker and park in the street which is an
unsafe place for them.
Kim said the few people who do ride motorcycles in the city are mostly pretty loud and obnoxious, so he
feels this new parking restriction was aimed at trying to discourage them with cost.

Kim figured he would build a cargo bike that would carry his motorcycle which he could park free on the
sidewalk and keep one of his six antique motorcycles safe and available to use.
The city said it was legal. Win!
However Kim has tried avoid publicity and not to draw attention to his solution because he doesn't want to
cause trouble for the city, just solve his problem.

The mis-concept of cart before the horse comes to mind.
Cargo bikes are not for hilly cities.

Bikes are not for hilly cities. And neither are Gravdigrs.

eBikes are great for hilly cities.
