8/1/2003: Climber rescues wayward cat

The climber is Amy Wolfe, and she's busy trying to put a cat into a bag. Not an easy task, when you're hanging off a cliff without even a good footing. The calico in question had fallen off the cliff onto a ledge. Ms. Wolfe did finally manage to bag the cat and hoist it down to waiting animal control folks. The cat is now up for adoption, and has been renamed: "Amy". Sounds good.

I am not going to touch this one. there is so much I could say. heh heh

Cat to climber: "That's not my bag, baby!"

dave  Friday Aug 1 01:09 PM

One book, by Amy the Cat, titled "Bags Held By Climbers: That Sort Of Thing Is My Bag, Baby."

Griff  Friday Aug 1 01:22 PM

"One bag with Amy the cat stitched on the side,... soiled."

Undertoad  Friday Aug 1 01:59 PM

"One bottle Bactine... empty.

One pack of butterfly stitches... empty.

One Petco claw trimming kit... used."

This just in: the RIAA will be carefully studying this event for signs of success.

juju  Friday Aug 1 04:06 PM

The MPAA, however, says that it is, in fact, a slippery slope.

That sort of commentary is why the Cellar is the most important news source on the web.

Don't forget to go here and click, so Amy gets fed.

Torrere  Friday Aug 1 11:49 PM

Hm. I used to know a girl named Amy Wolfe.

She had black hair, though.

xoxoxoBruce  Saturday Aug 2 01:13 AM

Better living through chemistry. Blonds have more fun.

Torrere  Monday Aug 4 03:50 AM

*me grins mischeviously.

I'll keep that in mind!

Bitmap  Wednesday Aug 6 08:28 PM

Couldn't resist.....

That pussy probably got pretty banged up on the way down.

(grins and slinks back into the shadows)

Undertoad  Wednesday Aug 6 09:50 PM

Well, that isn't good enough unless you add

... yes, and the cat probably did too.
