11/7: Best Halloween costume

Apparently some folks have more fun with Halloween than others.

dave  Wednesday Nov 7 10:45 AM

Heh. I was thinking about doing this on Halloween (I've had this picture for years) but didn't 'cause I didn't know if it was in good taste. So... you and I apparently have real similar leanings toward "Image of the Day"

I hear a lot of people say "boy, I'd like to get ahold of those puppies."

Here's another one:

Hay D, at some point I oughta work up a proper submission queue with voting and everything.

It's a five minute hack, so it should be done by about next Spring...

One can hardly let that go by without *somebody* saying something about the elephant. I wonder if he shaved specifically for the painting? I wonder how it looked flaccid?

I liked the puppies too, though. One of the delights of being bi...:-)

A kid was suspended for going to a highschool halloween party as an anatomically correct vagina. He won first prize. It IS impressive.

Buck Wolf usually comes up with good stuff - I hope he got through the latest layoffs at abcnews.com - I haven't checked. He used to sit in the next office

The really ironic thing about this: it will probably get the kid laid, dontcha think?

Well, as his detailed garment indicates, he demonstrates a strong beginners knowledge of the equipment. He's off to a good start.

Maybe. I understand it was originally his Mom's costume though.

Furthermore, being on owner side of "the equipment" is *completely* different from being on the operator side.

Trust me on this one. I have a unique point of view. :-)

School doesn't have a leg to stand on, but that principle never stopped a principal before.

dave  Thursday Nov 8 10:46 AM

principals always seem to powertrip, no?

back in 11th grade, a friend of mine and i created a website for the school i went to (south carroll). that website would be here:

http://www.geocities.com/Baja/6586/

well, we had some seriously funny shit on there. the principal figured out that it was brian ker who was working on it (checked birthdays 'cause brian was dumb enough to put his birthday on there as a holiday for our fake school calender), called brian into his office. brian was like "nope, didn't do it, and even if i did, you can't do anything." they called me in and actually threated legal action. i was like "well, i did do it, and you can'd do anything about it, because it wasn't done at school and it doesn't infringe on any copyrights." he got all sorts of pissy. in an effort to calm things down, we removed pictures from the yearbook, even though they would have been protected under fair use / parody. that really didn't give them a leg to stand on, and we switch all names - Tony Shepps would becoming Shony Tepps, etc. i think what got to him was when, under his profile, we called him "the angry mongoose" most of those pages have disappeared now, but some of it is still funny

Just as a note, not sure where you got the picture of the pups from, but I don't think it's recent. A friend sent me a picture of that exact person with the same paint job 2-3 years ago. Regardless, nice pups.

Just got back from Fantasy Fest in Key West a week or so ago, this kind of thing was just too numerous to mention. A great time, y'all should check it out sometime if you're ever down there around halloween.

Although there were plenty of bare chests, I think these guys had a couple of the best costumes uranus and meteor shower

Feel free to check out the other photos on the site - mostly just personal stuff, but most people get quite a kick out of some of the people we met down there.
