Is increasing disinterest in Miss America also found in other beauty contests at all levels?

It's pretty tough for the swimsuit competition to compete with internet porn.

Depends on the audience. I have never liked pageants. MomWolf, however, gets very excited around pageant time, makes endless lists of the candidates on their initial walk on the runway, and claims an 80% success rate at predicting the five finalists.

No consistent statistics have been kept related to her pageant acumen, and I actually do not care to challenge her on it because she's at least having some fun.

I don't know. I'm not interested enough to find out.

Miss America got upset when a college professor was able to predict the winner simply from physical dimensions. The pagent stopped providing some of that data. But the damage was done. Proven was what mattered. His data did not include anything related to brain size or percentages of gray and white matter.
