Amusing Planet today is focusing on a really great idea for a non-profit store...
The Brooklyn SuperHero Supply Store

But I'm a bit concerned about customer safety.
There should be a warning on their cans of "AntiMatter"

DO NOT OPEN WITHIN 30 ft of ANY OTHER KIND OF MATTER

Thanks for reminding me about old CW McCall's 'Convoy'. That was a pleasant recollection.

It's hard to find something new in The Cellar. :)

Not really, I just happened to remember that place. Took some digging because I couldn't remember when.

I have posted a picture here back in the day of the Greenwood Space Travel Supply Co. It's a storefront for the same 826 outfit. Darned if I can find it now though.

So they think you're "largely amenable". :haha:

UV?

DanaC 07-11-2015 08:29 PM

That's pretty impressive.

xoxoxoBruce 07-11-2015 09:24 PM

If I remember right, it kills 99% of the germs in seconds.

edit... kills 99.8% with a coating of Titanium Dioxide stimulated by UV light.

I'm assuming, yes.

We had UV lights in the safety glasses cabinet in 7th grade metal shop...I think the bigger thing here is the door-opening-closing-powered generator that powers the UV door handle. Works in a power outage.

That's pretty cool.
