Stalkers

Im going to leave this one wide open......

I was stalked briefly by a guy in college. But not very well. It was pretty pathetic.

HungLikeJesus 01-22-2009 11:34 PM

Didn't we have a thread about that a while back. With Shawnee and that guy with the big cucumber?

Ah, here it is.

Pie 01-22-2009 11:38 PM

We all know who the real stalker is. LJ.

Cicero 01-22-2009 11:47 PM

You rang?

Pie 01-22-2009 11:55 PM

Can I give you my home phone number?

Cicero 01-22-2009 11:56 PM

Funny us running in to each other like this. In such an out of the way place again...:)

And I always thought a stalker was someone who harvested marijuana. Sheesh.

Shawnee123 01-23-2009 07:12 AM

I came. I stawked. I came. I conquered.

Thanks for remembering that thread HLJ. That really made me smile. :)

Used to be a cheapish restaurant in our main village, but was recently sold and is undergoing a transformation. the food is lovely, but the prices have gone up. We really do need a local "greasy spoon" with cheap and cheerful nosh :( .

Sometimes thread drift is so sudden it spins my office chair around.

Stalker, or just a romantic guy?

skysidhe 01-23-2009 09:58 AM

Stalking and being annoyingly embarrassingly besotted with someone online are two different birds.

Someone hacking you or trying to get personal via too much personal information is stalking no matter where you are.

I had a hacker attach to my blog spot page so I deleted my account.

I had unwanted attention on diviant art some time ago. That felt stalkish but it probably was just innocent but I left anyway.

I try not to post twice to the same user in a row so as not to appear stalkish. You never know what another user is comfortable with if you cannot read their facial expression or have any eye contact...so I've learned.

Clodfobble 01-23-2009 10:04 AM

Oh, MAN--I hate the popular myth that if she says no you just have to keep trying until you win her over. That's such bullshit.

lookout123 01-23-2009 10:16 AM

Usually that's true but believe it or not there ARE women who need to be pursued before they'll decide you're the man for them. the woman in my trunk is the perfect example...
